Human resources executives and service providers are gathering to recruit, provide educational information and offer their programs and services at the 2006 New Canadians, Aboriginals & Visible Minorities Job and Education Fair.

 

Exhibitors are employers, educational institutions, professional associations and governmental departments.  Among them are Hewlett Packard, Royal Bank, Scotia Bank, Xerox, Ikea, Staples Business Depot, Manpower, Canada Post, RCMP, TTC, Ontario Association of Teachers, Certified General Accountants, Seneca College and the University of Toronto.

Who:                All Aboriginal, visible minorities and new Canadians are welcome.  Employers are seeking individuals who are eligible to work in Canada.

 

Cost:                $3 entrance fee

Human Resources executives and recruiters from private and public sector organizations will be seeking qualified workers who have some work or educational experience in Canada.

 

Educational Information

Educational institutions will offer information about training programs, educational courses, updating credentials and co-op programs designed to help provide opportunities to gain work experience.

Information specifically targeted to Aboriginals, visible minorities and new Canadians including immigrant programs, accreditation services, as well as, professional and networking associations.
