Ensemble, Kiyoshi Nagata Ensemble, Ballet Creole, Maderaz, Ron Korb,
Adonis Puentes, TASA, Heather Bambrick, the Madawaska String Quartet,
GaPa, and the Kekeli African Drum and Dance Ensemble.

Adam Solomon was born in Mombasa, Kenya, and began performing at an
early age. He established his career playing lead guitar and singing on
recordings with some of Kenya's most popular musicians. He was a co-founder
of Canada's great pan-African band, the Afronubians, with whom he
toured western Canada in 93. After forming his own multicultural band,
Tikisa, he released albums Safari and Rocket Express II: African
Renaissance Blues.  In 2004 he collaborated with a group of pan-African
musicians, culminating in the release of the CBC-produced African Guitar
Summit CD, which won Best World Music Album at the 2005 Junos. Tikisa
delivers a fresh, eminently listenable sound...an intoxicating blend of
Worldbeat and Afropop rhythms that will lift your soul and make your
feet move.
