The 2006 Census needs approximately 250 customer focused individuals to work in an exciting call centre in downtown Toronto. If you're in the market for part-time or full time work this spring and summer and have exceptional customer service skills, Statistics Canada may have the job for you at its Census Help Line Centre. A national census of the population and agriculture takes place once every five years. On Tuesday, May 16, more than 32.5 million people in 12.7 million households across Canada will count themselves in as part of the 2006 Census. The Statistics Canada Census Help Centre in downtown Toronto is one of three call centres specifically designed to assist the Canadian population in filling out their Census Questionnaires. The call centre will have a specific mandate to be able to provide assistance to the public in many languages, this in addition to the official languages.
