October 11th-November 4thInternational African Inventors Museum will have an exhibition at Factory Theatre for the entire run of The Real McCoy.

 

Friday, October 12th - Visions of Science Network of Learning Fundraiser

Visions of Science is dedicated to promoting science and technology in the black, African-Canadian and Caribbean communities and other under-represented groups in science. The evening will be hosted by Dr. Winton Klass, and Francis Jeffers with special guest Andrew Moodie.

Friday, October 12th @7pm

Thursday, October 18th - Around The Fire: Tales of Africa, Trinidad & Jamaica

Featuring Itah Sudah, Phyllis Walker & Sandra Whiting

Join us for an evening of tale spinning from some of Toronto’s most renowned storytellers. Presented by Factory Theatre and The Storytellers School of Toronto

Sunday, October 28th - “I remember Toronto when…”

 Presented by Andrew Moodie & The Jamaican Canadian Association

Members of the Jamaican community will recall their experiences as newly landed immigrants to Toronto as part of Andrew Moodie’s project Toronto the Good and the JCA’s initiative to bridge the generational gap and preserve their cultural Heritage. The event will be hosted by Dian Marie Bridge from the Playwrights Guild of Canada.

A portion of the ticket price will go to The Jamaican Canadian Association
